Our History

Established in 2016.

Over a decade ago, Tom and Jay were the waiters at Tri Dim Shanghai. Now they are back as its owners to apply their passion for fine dining and service to the restaurant they loves.They brought experienced chefs from restaurants around New York to join their amazing team. Together, they’re proud to bring the Upper East Side the best in Shanghainese cuisine.

Great food, service, decor, and locations. Go there, it is so good. Try the little juicy buns - I mean the pork buns, ok? The best juicy buns outside of Tin-Tai-Feng of Taiwan. Very good. Classic decor. Great service. Go there! Enjoy something "real Chinese".

Without a doubt the best Chinese restaurant in all of New York City. The food and service are superb. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The management and staff have brought customer service to a new level. Tri Dim Shanghai is even better than Shun Lee. Kudos to Philip and everyone else at Tri Dim Shanghai. Worth driving in from New Jersey just to dine there.

IMPRESSIVE

Great service and attentive staff. Food was yum. There's free dumplings upon check in on yelp so don't forget to do that! They take card. I got the gu-lu pork and id definitely recommend it for a fellow sweet tooth! It's got maraschino cherries, pineapple, and lychee.

JUST GREAT!

Service was excellent and the food was delicious. We splurged on dim sum and it was very tasty. Crispy Duck Rolls, Sweet and Sour short ribs, chili oil dumplings, dumplings, soup dumplings were enjoyed by all. I loved the chili oil dumplings- tasty! I would come back for more!
